TRUMP A NUT JOB WANTING WAR WITH N. KOREA

Original post, what to do about N. Korea was a 3 part post (July 2017) followed up by a 2 part post (August 2017). Many of you have requested follow up comments to my original post from July and August 2017. To begin, I would like to remind you of the acronym D.I.M.E. (Diplomacy Information Military Economics). This is and has been the basis to US Foreign policy for decades. This is a very simple view, but does give us a template for discussion.

QUESTIONS: Can or does N. Korea work with Iran to develop these weapons and missiles? How close are we to war with N. Korea? Is Trump off his rocker? Are other countries involved? Is this only America’s problem?

SECRETARY OF STATE TILLERSON: It is September 30, 2017 and US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is sitting in China meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping discussing N. Korea. Tillerson is conducting direct talks with N. Korea. I can picture the N. Korea ambassador to China sitting in the room with Tillerson and Jinping as options are discussed and N. Korea makes demands. This is the “D” part of DIME.

BANKS CLOSE: A few weeks ago Treasurer Secretary Steve Mnuchin warned of sanctions ready to go which would target any country. He was asked by the interviewer, does that mean China? Mnuchin replied, any country. During the meetings at the UN, China did announce that it would tell all of its banks to stop doing business with N. Korea. These sanctions give much flexibility to all departments in the US Government. Countries can do business with the United States or N. Korea, but not both. Rex Tillerson has this in his kit bag as he talks directly to the N. Korean Ambassador. This is the “E” in DIME.

BACK SIDE: Just like all aspects of life this is not that simple. You have a S. Korean President that feels compassion for the children and pregnant women of N. Korea. Kim Jung Un gives priority of food to his military and by the looks of it to himself. But the S. Korean president has offered $8 million in food aid for babies and pregnant mothers. S. Korea is a sovereign nation and can do what it wishes, but I question who will get this food. Let’s not forget Iran who mysteriously received billions of dollars in 2016 because of the nuclear deal with President Obama. We know that they have been exchanging technology for years (missiles and nuclear) with N. Korea.

Q: If Iran does business with N. Korea will sanctions be imposed based on the executive order signed September 21, 2017?

COUNTRIES: China must be assured that in the event of war we will not seek to overthrow Kim Jung Un or if he should accidentally be killed, we will not rush in and occupy N. Korea. Pakistan also has an interest in the Missile technology N. Korea is developing. Why? Because India is their enemy and India is a power in that region. Pakistan uses N. Korean labor and pays N. Korea directly for that labor. If we stop that will Pakistan continue to allow us to use roads thru Pakistan to supply Afghanistan?

GOOD COP BAD COP: While Tillerson (GOOD COP) is negotiating face to face with the N. Korean ambassador (BAD COP) Trump states, “I told Rex Tillerson, our wonderful Secretary of State, that he is wasting his time trying to negotiate with Little Rocket man”. Trump also tweeted “Rex save your energy, we will do what has to be done.” Trump went on to say, “being nice to Rocket Man hasn’t worked in 25 years, why it would work now? Clinton failed, Bush failed and Obama failed. I won’t fail.” In interviews Security Advisor HR McMaster has stated that there are many military options available to Defense Secretary Jim Mattis and UN Ambassador Niki Hailey has stated that we have kicked this can down the road as far as we can. This is the “I” & “M” in DIME.

N. KOREAN RESPONSE: Kim Jung Un threatened to shoot down an American Bomber. Kim Jun Un also created a video of firing an Exocet missile at a US Aircraft carrier showing it sinking.

WHAT WE DO NOT KNOW: We do not know where this well end, but no one wants war. You can go back in history and look at how crazy everyone thought Ronald Reagan was. Kennedy pulled a bluff during the Cuban missile crisis and Nikita Khrushchev blinked. I think Trump wants to keep them guessing while others have frank discussion behind the curtain.

END STATE: I have seen war up close and personal. Secretary of Defense Mattis, Chief of Staff General Kelly and the National Security advisor HR McMaster have all seen war and are the ones advising President Trump. Remember, GEN Kelly lost his son in Iraq. With that said N. Korea with a nuke is not the same as China or Russia with nukes during the Cold War. N. Korea has nothing to lose.

CONCLUSION: I thought to share this as a way to continue the discussion on N. Korea and clear through some of the confusion put out by the pundits and opinion people. One way or another N. Korea must be stopped and its progress to date destroyed.

STOP THE MUSIC – I WANT TO BURN THE AMERICAN FLAG

Do you know why the NFL players are kneeling when the national anthem is played? Did Colin Kaepernick start this trend because of police treatment – yes or no? What has Colin done to promote a dialog or discussion? Did Kaepernick meet with President Obama? Is the progressive left correct that it is Kaepernick’s right of free speech to kneel? Unity to what?

UNITY TO WHAT: Green Bay Packer Aaron Rogers asks everyone to lock arms to show unity. England and other countries have a monarchy. People show respect to the King or Queen. Socialist and Communist countries like Cuba or Venezuela have their heroes and leaders such as Fidel Castro, Che Guevara for Cuba, and for Venezuela Hugo Chavez and currently Nicolás Maduro. What would happen in those countries if anyone disrespected those leaders or heroes? In America we have a flag and national anthem. Lock arms to show unity. Is Aaron Rogers’s nuts? How about you stand with your hand on your heart and show unity for a country that is not perfect, but has always worked to get better and has always worked to make things better.

WHY DID KAEPERNICK KNEEL – WHAT HAS HE DONE SINCE: September 1, 2016 pre-season game in Green Bay, Kaepernick kneeled for the first time and when asked why; QUOTE = “I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color.” I can find no record of Kaepernick ever meeting with President Obama to begin a dialog to identify and correct the oppression. I cannot find any group or organization that Kaepernick has started or partnered with to address the grievances he identified. Kaepernick had a year and has done nothing.

TRUMP’S STATEMENT: We all know what got us to this point. President Trump was at a rally in Alabama and said that owners should fire any SOB that kneels. While I would not have said it in that manner, I do agree that these are employees and should be subject to rules of behavior. It has been stated frequently that NFL players cannot wear unauthorized gear or stickers and must not celebrate too hard in the end zone. Last year the Dallas Cowboys wanted to wear stickers honoring the 5 murdered Dallas police officers but this silent form of free speech was denied.

GREEN BAY PACKER CEO PUT OUT A STATEMENT: It’s unfortunate that the president decided to use his immense platform to make divisive and offensive statements about our players and the NFL. We strongly believe that players are leaders in our communities and a positive influence. They have achieved their positions through tremendous work and dedication and should be celebrated for their success and positive impact. We believe it is important to support any of our players who choose to peacefully express themselves with the hope of change for the good. As Americans, we are fortunate to be able to speak openly and freely.”

PACKER CEO A WASTE OF INK: As I said earlier, I would not have said it that way but what was divisive or offensive. Trump said, have a rule and enforce the rule. Perhaps by calling the owners spineless that was offensive. So the players are leaders and as leaders what are they demonstrating to the community that is positive? Yes, they worked hard to become millionaires and for a few hours we wish to enjoy what they can do that the rest of us can never do. What have these guys done for good and how is disrespecting the symbol of America either positive or good. Yes we are all fortunate to be Americans. Think back to Iraq, UDAY HUSSEIN had several of the national soccer team members whipped for three days for losing during the Asian cup.

NFL OWNERS: Follow the money. I think that the NFL owners are afraid of the players striking if the owners make an issue of the kneeling. Partly because the media has declared this to be a racial issue. The other reason the owners have chosen to do nothing is they are betting on the fact that the behavior will become acceptable and we will all come back to support football like pigs feeding at the trough. Leadership is about building a team, but leadership also requires a decision from time to time that leaves you standing alone. Hence the statement “It’s lonely at the top!”

THEY ARE COWARDS: I call them (owners & players) cowards. Why do I call them cowards? Many owners know President Trump and so do some of the players. Instead of standing there and yelling at each other, why not reach out and start a dialog. Kaepernick has had a year and demonstrated that he is not a leader but simply someone who yells fire in a movie theater. Where are the leaders that will negotiate an end to this disrespect to America? According to Green Bay Packers CEO Marc Murphy, the players are a positive influence and leaders of the community. This issue has been highlighted for a year. There are four NFL cities listed in the top Ten American Cities for murder. According to my search NFL teams in those cities have done nothing and neither have the individual NFL leader and positive influence on the community done anything to address the murders.

REACH OUT: When I was a commander in Iraq, I fired one guy for incompetence and put another in his place. In the military we are color blind, but for sake of this discussion I will share that the one I fired was white and replaced him with a very competent black officer. That black officer reached out to me about this issue wondering why I called them cowards. This man is now retired and doing a fantastic job as a teacher and coach. He teaches in a poor school district with many broken homes. Besides teaching math and coaching, he has become a father figure for many of these kids who come from broken homes. This man is still a leader and is for certain a positive role model. He is not a millionaire.

DO YOU CRY WHEN TAPS IS PLAYED: Before going to Iraq I would tear up when “TAPS” was played at funerals? After attending numerous memorial services in Iraq, for men and women who were killed, I no longer felt emotion when taps was played. Others told me of this same lack of emotion.

NATIONAL ANTHEM: I have had the honor to be asked to speak at many events. Shortly after I came home from Iraq, I spoke at an event and during this event they played the national anthem. I stood looking at the flag and all that it represents to me hearing the music and before I knew it, I started to cry. Since that time I caught myself choking up when the anthem was played at games or other events. Now I am careful not to focus too hard on the flag and on the words or music, because people will think I am nuts to be crying during our national anthem. I know that I am not the only veteran to have this as a reaction.

NOT ABOUT RACE: This is not about race to me this is all about disrespect for the United States of America. America is a country where the issues if they are ever clearly identified can be worked on to be corrected. No person should be prejudiced against and all should be treated has human beings. Kids are not born prejudice, prejudice is a learned behavior. I would love to ask Packer CEO Murphy what these NFL players are demonstrating that is either leading or positive for any community.

CIVIL WAR: In the movie ”GLORY”, which is about the 54th Massachusetts, a black unit formed following the EMNACIPATION PROCLIMATION won fame as part of the CORP that executed a frontal attack on Ft. Wagner. Decades after the charge the highest award for bravery was awarded to Sergeant William Harvey Carney. I wonder what SGT Carney would have to say about our NFL players? BACK STORY = Sergeant William Harvey Carney was awarded the Medal of Honor for grabbing the U.S. flag as the flag bearer fell, carrying the flag to the enemy ramparts and back, and singing “Boys, the old flag never touched the ground!”

America is Bad

Do you think America is perfect? Do you think America has made mistakes in the past? Do you think America will make mistakes in the present or in the future? Are you proud to be an American? Are you proud of what America has done for others in the world? Not promoting conspiracy theories, but do you think that there are people and groups that hate America and are working to overthrow or change America? Do you think there those in America that are trying to rewrite American History in the way they wish it to be? If you answered YES to the last question, who are these people and groups? (SEE MY POST LETS RESIST TRUMP) If America is so bad, why do so many still try to immigrate to America?

TRUMP & CHARLOTTSVILLE: Trump made three statements regarding Charlottesville. The first was ok but the left and the media were critical because Trump did not singularly denounce the Nazis and White Supremacists’ clearly enough. The second statement Trump specifically did denounce these groups but then Trump was criticized for taking too long, the media and others suspected that Trump did not mean it. A few days later during a press conference about infrastructure Trump took a question regarding Charlottesville and again stated that there are bad people on both sides as well as good. For many Americans this is an innocent statement because not all Conservatives or all Liberal/Progressives are bad but the extreme (Left & Right) are hateful and hurtful.

TRUMP SUPPORTERS: Besides the progressive left supporters such as the media and too many Democrats, many others felt the need to criticize Trump. A few weeks ago I wrote a post titled, “McCain Media Whore”. The premise of the post was that John McCain will go on any show and denigrate, castigate and criticize any Republican. He feels this will endear him to the Media and that the media will support him. NOTE:  That really worked well during the McCain 2008 presidential run. The sad reality is that besides McCain, you have a list of who is who in the Republican hierarchy and hierarchy wannabees, Lindsey Graham, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell and Karl Rove etc. etc. etc. I am frustrated because for (7) seven years this group has been saying give us a chance. I think their chance is now, today, this moment known as TODAY, not when they have a President that they and the media approve of.

NOTE: Write to your representative.

ALL POLITICS LOCAL: Do the Trump tweets make you uncomfortable? News media is great at innocently guilting politicians into making statements that support the narrative, the particular media person or talk show host supports. The reality is this; no person can control what another person says or does. What was actually wrong with what Trump said? Are Right Wing groups like White supremacists and Nazis bad? Are Left Wing groups like Antifa, BLM & Occupy Wall Street viewed as dangerous and destructive? Without a doubt, YES & YES!! The difference is that it is not acceptable to say that about the Left Wing Groups but it is expected to be said about the Right Wing Groups. I would love to hear politicians say that they can only control what they say and that their focus is to support and work for the voters in their District, State etc. Trump made the mistake of criticizing each side and not just focusing on the Right Wing Group, kind of like it was ok when President Obama seemed to always criticize police.

RESIST IS AMERICAN: During President Obama’s time in office the Republicans were called obstructionists. But today the media describes the resistance movement bragged about by Democrats and Progressive’s in this way, “Dissent is key to a healthy democracy.” What is sad from where I sit is that too many Republicans are part of this movement because they are neck deep in the swamp.

POLLS: A week after the Charlottesville incident, I was watching a news show and a person claimed that Trump is losing support among Independents, Republican support was softening and he had no support among Democrats. The news person said Trumps approval average in the polls is (DRUM ROLL) 38%. I broke out in laughter because that is what Trumps approval was the day before the November 8, 2016 election.

2018: Politicians need to develop a spine and stop trying to please every radio, TV and newspaper reporter or host. Do not let them goad, coerce, cajole or guilt you into criticizing the President when it is not deserved or warranted. Just do your job for those that voted for you, and stop trying to ride the fence like that media whore McCain. Remember the media does not like you, and when you say what the media wants, the media actually thinks less of you. Also remember many of the politician’s will appear before the voters again in 2018. What if the 38% that supported Trump November 2016 still support Trump November 2018? Will the sore crotch media whore politicians get reelected?

Let Us Organize & Resist President Trump Part #4 of #4

Does the right to assemble give individuals or groups the right to disrupt? When groups disrupt do they disrespect the rights of others to partake or to listen and ask questions? Does the right to disagree give individuals or groups the right to destroy private property? Was the Tea Party created through organized efforts or did it just happen because of frustration? Is there an organized effort to oppose President Trump? If yes, who organized this movement? What do we do if we suspect the reporting of the media?

WATCH THE NEWS: Remember INDIVISIBLE was put together by former Democratic congressional staffers to reveal the best practices for making your elected politicians listen. What are you seeing on the news? How is the congressional town hall going in your home town? When watching the news remember these groups wish to create deception which is the most powerful weapon they have.

MEDIA: Your view of reality is shaped by the media whether you know it or not. During President Obama’s time in office the Republicans were called obstructionists. But today the media describes the resistance movement bragged about by Democrats and Progressive’s in this way, “Dissent is key to a healthy democracy.”

FIND THE TRUTH: In Iraq the Village elders would gather and each elder would bring several newspapers. All of the papers had notes in the margin and portions underlined. The Eldest would start by saying this (NAME OF PAPER) says XXXX and if the majority agreed that was jotted down as a fact or if a majority did not agree that was not a fact. They would continue this until they agreed they had the truth. You cannot do this but you must get your information from more than one source and be certain that not all are conservative and not all are liberal. Read beyond the headline.

DANGEROUS TIMES: We live in an information overload reality. Much of the media hangs together and may not formally agree on a message but many seem to say the same things. So the hard work of separating the wheat from the chaff is up to us. Be cautious and do not make up your mind to fast. It is better to decide what is correct and what the truth is 6 months later than to be wrong today and never accept facts that say something else is truth.

WHAT TO DO: Know what your elected officials are doing. You cannot know everything about every issue. But pick one or two that truly affect you and become informed on those issues. When your politician does not vote the way you want write a letter or better yet write before the politician votes and tell them what you want.

WATCH & READ: Be very suspect whenever you see the media reporting large crowds at any event that an elected person is at, town halls or building dedications. Be suspicious of what you read in the headlines take the time to read the last few paragraphs which many times contain the majority of the truth.

CONCLUSION: I hear lots of people say that their vote does not count so they never vote. They are correct, their vote does not count. I hear people say I do not care about politics it does not affect me. If you are a hunter and they vote to ban all guns that will affect YOU.

North Korea – Susan Rice the trusted Expert? Part 2 of 2

Remember the September 2012 Benghazi attack occurred and following that, U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice appeared on 5 Sunday morning shows to state that it was not terrorists but because of a film? Can we trust what Susan Rice says when she is brought in as an expert commentator on TV? Can we trust what she writes in an op-ed?

REAGAN: June 1987, President Reagan is in Berlin and delivers what is now considered one of his most famous speeches. In the speech Reagan stated, “Mr. Gorbachev tear down this wall.” Many high ranking experts advised Regan not to use those words. They said it was too provocative and un-presidential. There was fear it would escalate tensions between the U.S. & the Soviet Union (REMEMBER the Cold War was still on). Q: Did the U.S. media ever imply that Reagan was senile or incompetent? Yes the media did just that and so did comedians.

LEADERS: Leaders lead. During my career I was told more than once and experienced more than once the reality that, it is lonely at the top.

ENEMY GETS A VOTE: I have experienced war and certainly do not want war. With that said, N. Korea with nukes is not the same as China and Russia. Russia and China have never practiced by firing at the U.S. or our allies. There is no red line, but there is rhetoric so it appears that something may happen. Whatever America does N. Korea may not react the way we expect and N. Korea might get a devastating shot or two off either at an American ship or into a population center in the region. We must be prepared for that reality.

CHINA & RUSSIA: Whatever we do there will be a reaction from N. Korea. The key is to allow N. Korea to act first because China has said that if N. Korea acts first, N. Korea is alone (read my first 3 N. Korea posts where I refer to D.I.M.E.). The danger is that a missile launched by N. Korea hits a target before the U.S. can shoot it down. Our response must be with enough kinetic force to deter further military action from N. Korea.

INTERNATIONAL: N. Korea has sold nuclear technology to Syria (REMEMBER: Israel’s September 6, 2007, attack on Syria’s al-Kibar nuclear facility). N. Korea has also sold and traded nuclear and missile technology with Iran. N. Korea will sell technology to anyone with money (terrorists?) because it is a financial export for N. Korea. The world is not safe with N. Korea in possession of nuclear weapons and the ability to produce and sell that technology.

SPOILED BOY PROBLEM: The current leader of N. Korea is Kim Jong-un born in 1984. His father Kim Jong-il was 10 years old when the Korean War began, so he clearly remembered war, poverty and hardship. His son Kim Jong-un has been spoiled all of his life, and anyone who ever said no to him has been removed. As the leader of N. Korea, he has only ever dealt with President Obama. Any of you that have ever dealt with a spoiled child knows how difficult that can be. Now place that child as the leader of N. Korea with nuclear weapons.

THE WORLD IS DANGEROUS: The world is watching. Iran, Syria, China, Russia, Muslim Terrorists are watching. The world reacted when Obama drew a red line and did nothing, and the world will react to whatever happens under President Trump.

Pray for clear leadership and peace. MY OPINION: N. Korea must not be allowed to have nuclear weapons or to sell the technology. I am not for regime change let N. Korea keep Kim Jong-un.

Let Us Organize & Resist President Trump Part #3 or #4

Is there an organized effort to oppose President Trump? If yes, who organized this movement? What do we do if we suspect the reporting of the media?

ACTION: One of the first areas addressed is safety. QUOTE: Do not ask someone to take on a role that calls for semi-confrontational behavior. Think about this statement. The implications are that they know and plan to have people capable and willing to be confrontational. As a reminder there are four parts to this chapter so we will restate them here and look at each one at a time. #4 is the heavy action chapter. #A is all about town halls, #B how to act at public events, #C Describes what to do at a district office visits and #D is coordinated calls.

TOWN HALL/LISTENING SESSIONS:  Do your homework and prepare 5 to 10 questions. Meet in the parking lot or a nearby location to organize and hand out the prepared questions. Get in line early but do not sit together spread out in the seating area but towards the front half of the room. WHY SPREAD OUT? When/if TV cameras (cell phones) are present everyone gets up and yells and chants which will give the appearance of broad support. When a member of the group asks a question everyone should stand and yell or applaud again to give the appearance of broad support. NOTE: this is a planned show of force to weaken the elected officials resolve because they want to get reelected. After the town hall the group should seek out TV cameras and crowd to the camera to make a statement that reinforces the impression of broad consensus. Someone should always record every event. Share everything on social media.

LOCAL EVENTS: This might be a dedication of a building or a school or a bridge etc. You must be visible at these events. Purchase (T) shirts with a message and carry signs. Be prepared to interrupt the event and if they refuse to listen to you be prepared with rehearsed chants of your message. Locate reporters and try to be interviewed. Always be polite and friendly but stick to your message speaking reelection language, “We want to remind congress XXX that their constituents etc. etc.” Often time’s local organizations host the events but they will shrink from controversy. Reach out to them and protest with letters to the editor or in front of their organizational headquarters. Actions like this will reduce the chances of these organizations ever hosting another event for the representative.

DISTRICT OFFICE: Alert the media that a group is heading to the District office. Have prepared questions and be prepared to host a sit-in if they refuse to address your questions. REMEMBER: Advertise what you are doing to the local media. Record your event and post on social media.

COORDINATED CALLS: This chapter deals with the importance of written letters, phone calls and e-mail. They stress the importance that if you get to talk to someone take down their name and keep notes of the conversation or record the conversation if you can. Direct quotes are great and anything they tell you is public information. REPORT: Report to the media and to your group.

THE REALITY: Remember these people are activists. Being an activist is not bad except these people do not believe in America and certainly believe America is bad. Therefore they do not believe in America’s election process. Have you noticed the number that still deny that President Trump is the president and bring up that he does not have a mandate? Trump has a mandate when you look at the results of the Electoral College vote Trump 306 & Clinton 232. But groups like INDIVISIBLE and OFA believe that the Electoral College is an instrument of the rich or as they like to say it “The Haves vs. The Have-nots”. For these people the desired end is to create a one world order or a new world and the end justifies the means.

END JUSTIFIES THE MEANS: Let me give you an example. Remember during the 2012 elections and Senator Harry Reid accused Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney of having not paid any taxes over the past decade. Remember, Reid did this from the floor of the senate. This was proved to be a lie and that was pointed out to Reid. Now here is when the end justifies the means. Harry Reid responded, “Romney didn’t win, did he?”

North Korea – Susan Rice the trusted Expert? Part 1 of 2

BACKGROUND: Read my three previous posts for details but in short the three previous presidents each had a different approach. Clinton used the carrot, Bush used the stick and Obama demonstrated strategic patience. All negotiated in good faith with N. Korea. There efforts resulted in our reality today.

IT IS OK IF N. KOREA HAS NUKES: According to Rice = (“History shows that we can, if we must, tolerate nuclear weapons in North Korea — the same way we tolerated the far greater threat of thousands of Soviet nuclear weapons during the Cold War. It will require being pragmatic.) WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? I think between President Clinton, Busch & Obama we have been pragmatic.

RED LINE: Rice said the U.S. should make it clear that any use of nuclear weapons against the U.S. or its allies, or the transfer of nuclear weapons to third parties, would “result in annihilation of North Korea.” These words sound wonderful and the implication is to draw a red line, which is what her boss President Obama did in Syria. How did that work out?

GENIUS SOLUTION: Headline seeker Congresswoman Maxine Waters said, “I think there’s some things that they want from us, and we have to find out whether or not we can work with them on the things that they’re asking for.” REALLY? GGGEEEZZZ what does this genius think the three previous presidents did?

FILL THE VACANT POSITIONS: Democrats have been slow rolling vacant cabinet appointments, and what do you think Maxine has to say when asked about N. Korea? QUOTE: “I want us to be very careful, very alert to what is happening and to avoid war, I think we can do this with some diplomacy, but we have got to have Tillerson, who is our Secretary of State, get those positions filled for deputy [and] for assistant, so that we can engage with North Korea.” Well DAH, SEE MY SHOCKED FACE!

CRITICIZE TRUMP: Experts are criticizing Trump’s rhetoric on N. Korea. News anchors and other experts claim Trump is not qualified to deal with N. Korea because his speech is too provocative. Well how did the previous three presidents do when dealing with N. Korea? We know that N. Korea can miniaturize nuclear warheads. This was discovered by the Obama administration a few years ago. That means that N. Korea can place a warhead onto a missile.

Let Us Organize & Resist President Trump Part #2

Does the right to assemble give individuals or groups the right to disrupt? When groups disrupt do they disrespect the rights of others to partake or to listen and ask questions? Does the right to disagree give individuals or groups the right to destroy private property? Was the Tea Party created through organized efforts or did it just happen because of frustration? Is there an organized effort to oppose President Trump? If yes, who organized this movement? What do we do if we suspect the reporting of the media?

INDIVISIBLE BROKEN DOWN: There are four (#4) chapters in this practical guide for resisting in America. #1 focuses on grassroots efforts. #2 describes how your member of congress thinks and how to save democracy. #3 is focused on either identifying existing local organizations or creating a new one. #4 is the heavy action chapter. #A is all about town halls, #B how to act at public events, #C Describes what to do at a district office visits and #D is coordinated calls.

GRASSROOTS: In the how to guide known as INDIVISIBLE, they compare what they have described as the TEA PARTY as a small percentage of Americans and state that INDIVISIBLE represents the majority of America, therefore much more will be accomplished. They tell you to find small groups of dedicated like-minded people. REMEMBER for this grassroots movement the issue is never the issue, the endgame is accumulation of power to create fear and doubt in the mind of the TARGET, the targets are members of congress and you.

HOW CONGRESS THINKS: It does not matter if your congress person has said that they will only run for a few terms, they soon begin to realize that they cannot achieve what they wish to achieve in a single term or even in two terms. The goal of your elected representative is re-election, re-election, re-election etc. etc. The goal of INDIVISIBLE is to get negative press coverage focused on the elected officials’ actions.

ACTION AGAINST: The plan is to stall the Trump agenda by forcing them to redirect energy away from their priorities. Congressional offices have limited time and resources so any day any hour spent worrying about INDIVISIBLE is a day not focused on what is good for America. The goal is to SAP the will of elected officials to remain focused and bend them to the will of INDIVISIBLE group efforts. The long term goal is to begin to prime the pump for the 2018 elections.

ORGANIZATION: It is critically important for resistance groups like INDIVISIBLE or OFA to appear caring and inclusive. This will make it easier for them to project inclusiveness because they want their message to be “we care about our community.” Start a local group focused on making your elected person the target. Find other groups and have that leadership become co-founders within your organization, this gives ownership and identity. Use social media to communicate and to rally numbers when needed. Some of the detail under organizing is to get the story and imagine what is possible or, what can our organization do, to change the relationship with the member of Congress. The INDIVISIBLE guide spends considerable time on the name of your organization. YOUR TOWNS NAME INDIVISIBLE AGAINST HATE or YOUR TOWNS NAME SAVING MEDICARE etc. The name must connect with the local people and most important it must appear to be innocent or innocuous.

RALLY: Jan 27, 2017 President Trump issued an executive order under the Immigration and Nationality Act banning immigration from several predominantly Muslim countries. In less than 24 hours elected officials led by Senator Elizabeth Warren & Representative John Lewis were at airports across America leading chants. NOTE: You will see more of this in the next few years. REMEMBER: events like this are not spontaneous this is right out of the INDIVISIBLE playbook.

Freedom of the press is essential to the preservation of a democracy; but there is a difference between freedom and license. Editorialists who tell downright lies in order to advance their own agendas do more to discredit the press than all the censors in the world.

The Buck Stops With Mitch

Is Mitch McConnell a great leader of the Senate? Are you frustrated with his excuses? Do you think Mitch McConnell is supporting you? Do you think things are not getting done in the U.S. Senate because of President Trump?

LEADERS: I always led with this in mind, leaders take 100% responsibility for their failures and share responsibility for success. President Harry Truman said, “The Buck stops here.” “The greatest leader is not necessarily the one who does the greatest things. He is the one that gets the people to do the greatest things.” Ronald Reagan.

REPUBLICAN’S SAID: Since May 2010 when Obama Care was signed into law Republicans have said, “Repeal and Replace.” The Republicans have voted to repeal Obama Care more than 50 times, except July 2017 when it counted. The Republican Platform states that the party will repeal and replace Obama Care which is supposed to be the vision of the party. “Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality.” Warren G. Bennis.

MITCH SAID: Reelection night 2014 McConnell indicated one of his priorities was to repeal Obama Care. McConnell was on the show (Face The Nation) shortly after Trump was elected, and when asked about repeal and replacing Obama Care, McConnell said it must be done and very soon. I do not know what you think but I do not think that it is a priority for McConnell.

200 DAYS: January 2017 Senator Mitch McConnell stood with Congressman Paul Rayan and outlined a 200 day plan. McConnell said, this is a bold plan but we are in communication with the President and his team daily. McConnell quote, “We are on the same page.”

NO EXCUSES MITCH: At a speech to the Rotary in Kentucky our leader of the Senate Mitch McConnell laid the blame for his failure squarely at the feet of President Trump. Quote, “Our new president, of course, has not been in this line of work before. I think he had excessive expectations about how quickly things happen in the democratic process.” “Part of the reason I think people think we’re under-performing is because of too many artificial deadlines unrelated to the reality of the legislature which may have not been understood.”

TRUMAN & REAGAN: “Term limits would cure both senility ad seniority – both terrible legislative disease,” Truman. “If you are afraid of the future, then get out of the way, stand aside. The people of this country are ready to move again,” Reagan.

CONCLUSION: You voted so that means that you care. Do you want health care, taxes simplified, a budget, what do you want? Now take the time to write your Senator and Congressman and tell them what you want. Make yourself heard!!

Let Us Organize & Resist President Trump Part #1

CONGRESS RECESS: It is August 2017 and congress will be in recess and heading home to the voters. What we normally see during the recess is each congressperson holding TOWN HALLS. I predict one of two happenings, first you may see the local or national news lead with wild Town Hall meetings exclaiming that a majority of voters are frustrated etc.etc. Second scenario is that elected officials will hold fewer TOWN HALLS. We must all be aware of the cause for either scenario. If the TOWN HALLS become chaotic and confrontational these events are not spontaneous but planned and rehearsed as propaganda that the media will willingly broadcast to all of America. If our elected officials hold fewer TOWN HALLS because they know of this planned anarchy, all voters have lost an opportunity to communicate with the people they elect.

ORGANIZED OPPOSITION: How many of you are aware that there is an organized effort to disrupt and organize a resistance to our elected government? The name of one of these organizations is INDIVISIBLE. The Indivisible movement came to be in December 2016 because of liberal progressive’s fear of Trump. The INDIVISIBLE practical guide gets updated regularly but in the copy I have, they clearly state that Trump does not have a mandate because he did not get the popular vote. (Liberal Progressives do not like America as it is today and do not believe in the U.S. Constitution so do not believe in the Electoral College)

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE: The 26 page INDIVISIBLE guide I have states; in these chapters is a step-by-step guide for individuals, groups and organizations to replicate (KEY WORD REPLICATE) the Tea Party. It goes on to say the goal of INDIVISIBLE is to stiffen the spine of Democrats and weaken the resolve of pro-Trump supporters.

TAX EXEMPT: We all remember Lois Lerner the IRS employee who pled the fifth during congressional testimony and later resigned over the investigations into the IRS not granting tax exempt status to organizations like the Tea Party. March 2010 some IRS offices started a spread sheet known as (BOLO) or Be On The Lookout identifying Tea Party type organizations.

HOW ABOUT INDIVISIBLE: How long will it take the INDIVISIBLE organization to become a 501 (c) 3 or tax exempt organization? As of August 2017 Indivisible has been tax exempt for several months because here is their employer identification number (EIN) 52-2234311. Well that did not take long. SEE MY SHOCKED FACE!!!

U.S. CONSTITUTION: The First Amendment states that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

INDIVISIBLE HAS A MISSION STATEMENT: With the first amendment to reference let us see what the INDIVISIBLE mission statement is. TAKEN FROM THE INDIVISIBLE WEB PAGE: Indivisible Is A Nonpartisan Communications And Engagement Organization Disrupting America’s Dominant Cultural Understanding And Expectations Of Local, State And National Government. Indivisible Aims to Tell the Story of America’s Potential through Government. I believe that the key phrase in this mission statement is (DISRUPTING AMERICA’S DOMINANT CULTURAL)

HOW DOES INDIVISIBLE TELL THE STORY: In their own words INDIVISIBLE leaders say that they want to make America ungovernable. What does the last parts of the 1st amendment say (or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.) Do you feel INDIVISIBLE type organizations are infringing on Americans Constitutional Right to peaceable assemble?

ARROGANCE OF THE ORGANIZERS: Some say that this is an offshoot of a larger organization started by former President Obama called (ORGANIZING FOR ACTION) OFA which was an offshoot of ACORN. I will let legal beagles debate that as a topic but all of America should be aware that these elements do exist and are working very hard. OFA claims that it got its digital assets from President Obama’s re-election effort. An attitude or a position of arrogance as stated by our former President Obama, “We are the ones we’ve been waiting for!”
