DEMOCRATS WANT UNIFORMITY NOT UNITY

President elect Joe Biden called for unity a short time after the Electoral College gave the election to Biden. Biden stated, “The integrity of our elections remains intact, now it is time to turn the page, and unite, to heal.”

Those are nice words but what have we as a nation seen these past four years? The Russia hoax that resulted in several years of an investigation by Robert Mueller and team ending in Mueller testifying before Congress with nothing to show. Followed by a failed impeachment because of the Ukraine phone call. Let us not forget our fair and balanced media and the never-ending drumbeat of all things Trump are bad. Biden now says it is time to unite and heal?

What is the price that any Trump supporter is to pay as we unite? Forbes chief content officer Keydra Mannus in the January 11, 2021 article warns against hiring any of the Trump spokes people. QUOTE: “Let it be known to the business world: Hire any of Trump’s fellow fabulists, and Forbes will assume that everything your company or firm talks about is a lie”. What does that statement say or mean? To me it is pretty clear, this is the beginning of a blacklist. Does that support unity or uniformity?

Tristan Justice wrote on January 7, 2021 that the ABC News political Director (Rick Klein) wants cleansing of Trump voters. Klein stated that Trump will be the ex-president, but getting rid of Trump is the easy part. QUOTE: “Cleansing the movement that Trump commands is going to be something else!” Former spokesman for Obama and staffer for Pete Buttigieg Hari Sevugan and Ocasio-Cortez put a name to this cleansing calling it the “Trump Accountability Project.” The Trump accountability project would create a list of anyone who took a paycheck to help Trump undermine America to be held responsible for what they did. Does that scare you? Does that support unity or uniformity?

New Georgia Senator elect Raphael Warnock said that Trump supporters need to repent for worshipping whiteness. Why must everything be about race? Race is everything because it is part of a plan used by Communist Russia since 1928. The History of Russian Involvement in America’s Race Wars written by Julia Joffe and published October 21, 2017 in the Atlantic provides details. Russia implemented race as an Issue in America and in many other countries around the world using it successfully as a wedge issue. Many problems would be solved if we stopped dividing and referring by race and just called everyone an American. I am not aware of any person who worships whiteness? Worshiping Whiteness would be a sin as we all know the first commandment is “Thou shat have no other gods before me”. Does Warnock’s statement support unity or uniformity?

January 2021, Project Veritas posted video of Public Broadcasting Service principal counsel Michael Beller saying, “Americans are f—king dumb and that children of Republican voters should be put into re-education camps.” The Project Veritas journalist asked what if we do not win. Beller compared Trump to Hitler and responded, “Go to the White House and throw Molotov cocktails.” Have you heard this reported on the news? Does that support unity or uniformity?

Cristina Laila in the January 10, 2021 Gateway pundit reported that Biden’s priority is to rebuild Black, Latino, Asian and Native American owned small businesses and women owned businesses. What do you think of that? Certainly, it is good to rebuild small business by why not every American small business? Why does Biden divide by race? Does that support unity or uniformity?

January 14 Project Veritas released a video of CEO Jack Dorsey speaking to employees. Dorsey outlined that Twitter’s clampdown on extremist accounts will be “MUCH BIGGER” than simply banning Trump. Dorsey also said the process will go far beyond the inauguration. Twitter, Facebook and other social media giants have been at odds with other conservatives over the past year plus. People point out that Google, Facebook, Twitter are all private companies and can do as they wish. Geoffrey Stone, Chicago Tribune, January 2021 points out that it is impossible for a privately owned company to violate your Constitutionally rights. Several decades ago, The Supreme Court held in Marsh v. Alabama that a privately-owned town could not constitutionally prohibit Jehovah’s Witness from distributing literature on the town’s sidewalks. The court explained “the more an owner, for his advantage, opens up property for use by the public in general, the more do his rights become circumscribed by the constitutional rights of those who use it.” Do you trust big social media? Does Twitter and Facebook support unity or uniformity?

January 6th riots at the Capitol are unacceptable. January 11, 2021 the Democrats introduced Articles of Impeachment against President Trump for a second time. No witnesses but they voted to Impeach anyway. How would you like to be convicted without any witnesses? President Elect Biden has not spoken out against this so his statement for unity rings hollow. Does this support unity or uniformity?
I see forced uniformity or conformity. There is nothing in these actions and statements that makes seventy-five million Americans want to turn the page, promote healing or unity.

I believe there are more instances of abridgement of freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments by those in power than by violent and sudden usurpation’s. James Madison

FIGHTING FOR THE AMERICAN VOICE

Do you know why the founding fathers of this country instituted the Electoral College? The founders did not want a direct popular vote; a concern was that the most populated states would control the vote. Another concern was that individual voters might not have sufficient information to elect a president, so electors are what we are actually voting for on election day. Some suggested that Congress should select the president, but the concern was that might compromise checks and balances. Other ideas discussed were that each state would cast a single vote, but the more populated states opposed that. In 1787, the Connecticut compromise was adopted.

The most populated states like Virginia wanted to count everyone to include slaves, but the less populated states were opposed to that, so part of the Connecticut Compromise was to agree to count slaves as 3/5 of a person. In several states free slaves could vote, and in some states only landowners could vote. Counting a slave had nothing to do with evil; it was simply a compromise to give fewer votes to slave states which had more people than less populated free states. The founders were very concerned with preserving states’ rights.
The founding fathers were always concerned with larger states or populated areas having greater voice than less populated areas. This is why each state has two senators—giving equal voice to low population Wyoming and high population California. Another concern was that direct popular vote might see a president elected that is more devoted to California and New York than Wisconsin, Iowa or Nebraska.

The Electoral College gives you voice. Many in America are leading the charge to eliminate the Electoral College. How the Electoral College is put together and how it works is described in the U.S. Constitution Article II, Section 1 and in the Twelfth and 25th Amendments.

The founding fathers did not want a parliament, and they did not want a democracy. A concern of the founding fathers regarding a popular vote (democracy) was that emotion and passion could rule the day resulting in mob rule. The founders wanted reason and law to rule the day.

The founders did not want a parliament because the leader and parliament are equal. They wanted the leader to be separate but equal to the elected representatives providing a check and balance.

The founders wanted a Representative Republic and the Electoral College is a critical part of this. In the Electoral College system, the voters vote for electors. The Electoral College assures a reasonable outcome and not oppression by the MOB.

How many electors does each state get? Total electors for each state are equal to its two senators and the number of congressional representatives. This system was designed to force presidents to pay equal attention to the least populated state. The founders also believed in the concept of federalism. They believed that the Electoral College would enforce the sharing of power between states and a national government preserving states’ rights.

Today many want to eliminate the Electoral College and your voice. Their argument against the Electoral College is based on emotion which stimulates passion. They say the popular vote is the only fair way. The argument today’s liberals make sounds much like the concerns expressed by the Founding Fathers regarding a strait popular vote or a democracy.

Remember what President Obama said, “We want to fundamentally change America.” Liberals dislike the U. S. Constitution because it constricts what they want to do. Their justification is that it is outdated and does not represent today’s thinking.
Today most states (not all) grant 100% of the electors to the party that wins that state’s popular vote. That was not always true. According to an article by Sarah Pruitt, until the mid-1800s, it was common for many state legislatures to simply appoint electors. US Constitution Article II, Section 1 gives the states the power to select the electors to the Electoral College: Each state shall appoint, in such manner as the legislature thereof may direct, a number of electors, equal to the whole number of senators and representatives to which the state may be entitled in the Congress etc.

What happens if there is a problem? What if the election is determined to be corrupt either by investigation or declared so by a court? We can look to the Pennsylvania Assembly in 2020. Pennsylvania State Senator Doug Mastriano indicated that Pennsylvania Republicans are considering taking back the power to select electors based on mounting evidence of voting irregularities and fraud. Mastriano stated, “If this is the case, under Article II, Section 1.2 of the U.S. Constitution, the state legislature has the sole authority to direct the manner of selecting delegates to the Electoral College.”

The 2020 presidential election is a contested election. If the ongoing lawsuits provide proof and courts decide that specific state elections cannot be certified by popular vote count, Pennsylvania and other state assemblies may take back the power to choose the electors per the U.S. Constitution.

Jefferson understood that the purpose of law was to protect the individual, as it was the smallest of minorities.

“All, too, will bear in mind this sacred principle, that though the will of the majority is in all cases to prevail, that will to be rightful must be reasonable; that the minority possess their equal rights, which equal law must protect, and to violate would be oppression.” Thomas Jefferson

MINORITIES FOR TRUMP

MINORITIES FOR TRUMP

I wish that we would stop calling Americans Black, Hispanic, Native or Asian Americans and just say American.

I will focus on two identified minority groups: Blacks and Hispanics. Both groups traditionally vote Democrat. Using presidential election statistics from 1984 through 2016, President Obama received 95% of the black vote in 2008 and in 2012 71% of the Hispanic vote. George Bush Sr. received 10% of the black vote in 1992 and in 2000 Bush the Younger received 35% of the Hispanic vote. The average for the Democrats during that time frame was Blacks —90.16% and Hispanics —60.5%. Republicans averaged 7.6% of the Black vote and 30% of Hispanic.

I am predicting that in 2020, 50% of Hispanics and 25% of blacks will vote for President Trump. What makes me think that? I believe that Democrats and Liberals in general believe that they can control minorities, and that the minorities are not informed. Let’s start by looking at Trump’s opposition.

Vice President Candidate Kamala Harris has Black heritage. Her father is Jamaican, and her mother is from India. Harris parents are not from the American slave background which has some Black Americans questioning if Harris can relate to or understands their struggle.

Harris’ other problem with Black voters is her history as a prosecutor. She was California’s attorney general from 2011 to 2017. According to the 08/12/20 NY Post, Harris refused to endorse a bill calling for a special prosecutor to investigate deadly police shootings and rejected calls from civil rights groups following the 2014 shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri.

Harris has a record of being tough. She opposed a state initiative to soften minimum mandatory sentences. During her time as attorney general, 1,560 people were jailed for marijuana-related offenses. These numbers come from the Washington Free Beacon.
Minorities are not uninformed, and they know that Presidential Candidate Joe Biden proudly exclaimed that he authored the 1994 Crime Bill. German Lopez on Vox Media October 29th, stated that some criminal justice reform activists have identified this crime bill as one of the key contributors to mass incarceration in the 1990s. This bill authored by Biden led to more prison sentences, more prison cells and aggressive policing hurting Black and Brown Americans disproportionately.

Biden was proud of his crime bill according to his November 18, 1993, speech in defense of the Biden/Hatch Crime Bill, also known as the Violent Crime Control Law of 1994. He wanted to end the rumor that Democrats were weak on crime, and a statement he made clearly exclaims his pride: “a Democratic senator from Delaware and a Republican conservative senator from Utah are united in a ‘Biden/Hatch Crime Bill’ that does all the things that I just said.” Here are a few other Biden statements from his speech. “We have predators on our streets, that society has, in fact, in part because of its neglect, created. We have no choice but to take them out of society. “ You’re looking at the “fella” who was one of the primary architects of the Sentencing Commission.

There is much more in the speech Biden gave. According to a C-Span video Biden was the chairman of the judiciary committee at that time, which is why he could give himself extra time. Biden gave himself extra time twice in three-minute increments. It is obvious that Joe Biden was extremely proud of this crime bill and wanted everyone to know that he was the driving force.

Minorities are not uninformed, they know that Kamala Harris is not Black, that she has been tough on crime, and blocked efforts to reform criminal justice as a State Attorney General. Minorities know about Joe Biden and the damage that the 1994 crime bill has caused to their communities. Trump might hurt your feelings, but Biden hurt people’s lives.

Black pastors have come out in favor of Trump and against Harris. According to Jacob Jarvis in his 05/22 Newsweek article, Darrell Scott, a black pastor, referred to Trump as the most pro-black president he has ever seen. A group of black pastors led by Bishop Aubrey Shines were quoted in the law enforcement magazine written by Pat Droney on 10/01. They were critical of Harris’ stance on Black Lives Matter. Bishop Shines slammed Harris in The Christian Post saying, “It’s extremely disheartening to see a U.S. Senator and a candidate for Vice President give such high praise to a group that is trying to destroy our country.”

Black Entertainment founder Robert Johnson told the Squawk Box on Wednesday, September 30, that he does not know what Biden would do. Johnson did not endorse Trump but said, “Where I come out as a businessman, I will take the devil I know, over the devil I don’t know, anytime of the week.”

Mary Papenfuss from the Huffington Post on 04/21/19, shared that Kim Kardashian defended her efforts in working with President Trump on prison reform, a topic promised by many presidents that included Obama. Trump is delivering.
Blacks and Hispanics know what Trump’s economic policies did for them. They also know what President Obama and Biden did not do for them.

The black family survived centuries of slavery and generations of Jim Crow, but it has been disintegrated in the wake of the liberals’ expansion of the welfare state. Thomas Sowell

WHO IS YOUR DICTATOR

WHO IS YOUR DICTATOR?

Have you noticed how easy we were all made to wear a mask? Why were we so willing? We are told that if we do not, we will get the Wuhan Virus and die, or we are told that we are not helping our fellow man. So, we are wearing the mask out of fear or to help others or just plain guilt.

Have you seen or heard the public service advertisements with the quiet running water exclaiming that we are all in this together or something like that? I feel like I have been shanghaied.

People have been wearing masks in Asia for decades due to the polluted air. Decades ago, I saw Korean and Japanese wearing masks, and we have all seen pictures of people in China wearing masks especially in cold weather months. Most certainly everyone in Wuhan, China, was wearing masks, but they not only got the virus but spread it around the world.
In the beginning we did not know, so to be safe we agreed to flatten the curve. We are being conditioned to believe that people who stand up for their freedoms are selfish, extreme, irresponsible, hateful, irrational, lawless and of course ignorant. Is it for our health, or has it simply become political?

Democrats are always telling us that President Trump is a dictator. We remember February 25th Speaker Pelosi telling us it was safe to go to Chinatown. On March 5th Mayor DeBlasio said it was safe to ride the subway. Trump banned travel from China on January 31 and a day later Biden exclaimed, “Yesterday, Donald Trump further diminished the United States in the eyes of the world. Trump’s atrocious asylum and refugee policies — they are all designed to make it harder for black and brown people to immigrate to the United States. It’s that simple. They are racist. They are xenophobic. And there is no evidence that they do anything to make us safer.” On March 20, Dr. Fauci was on MSNBC and was asked about the China travel ban and stated, “One of the things we did right, was very early, cut off travel from China to the United States”.

May 20, Mayor Lori Lightfoot announced that the city of Chicago would enforce shelter-in-place orders put in place by Governor J. B. Pritzker. This was to enforce the order against churches wishing to practice their First Amendment right. On the same day Pritzker proposed that any business that violates the states stay-at-home order should be fined or even get jail time, but like our Shawano County Sheriff Adam Bieber, numerous Illinois police said they would not enforce unconstitutional orders because people still had bills to pay. Who is your dictator?

On September 8th the Federalist and CNBC October 7th articles describe Elizabeth Warrens wealth taxes and other taxes. Under the terms of the Warren “Wealth Tax”, the American government would act like any fascist Communist or a totalitarian government and would confiscate assets. Warren is proposing that any company worth more than 1 billion (3%) and a company worth over 50 million (2%) of all assets to be seized by the US government. If this was approved what would stop them from increasing the percentage or taking a portion of yours? When the 1913 tax collection law was passed only 3% of the population paid income tax but today approximately 53% pay income taxes. Who is your dictator?

Earlier this year former Vice President Biden was asked about his platform on the 2nd Amendment, and according to the May 27th Western Journal Biden showed what his authoritarian wish would be. Biden said that no amendment is absolute. What does that mean? That tells me that Biden does not intend to protect the Bill of Rights or the US Constitution. Who is your dictator?

April 24th, Fox 11 News reported that the ordinance against violating the health laws gives the Green Bay Police the option to ticket violators. Eric Genrich is the mayor of Green Bay and a Democrat. The maximum fine is $1,000. September 25, WTAQ radio reported that Brown County is going to begin naming businesses and events that are not following proper COVID guidelines. Health Officer Anna Destree says that the county can issue citations and close the business to the public. Who is your dictator?
Governor Evers just extended his July 30 mask mandate until November 21. How has the mandate worked? Who is your dictator?

March 23rd Robert Barnes, a constitutional lawyer, expressed concern. Barnes warned that governments across America have used the media-stoked panic to limit, restrict or remove First Amendment freedoms of speech and worship. Americans are exercising their 2nd Amendment rights to purchase guns and ammo. Because governments across America are issuing no-arrest and no-detention orders for a wide range of crimes in their community and freeing inmates from prisons. On March 19 the BBC reported that Los Angeles reduced its prison population by 600 and NY Mayor DeBlasio announced NY prisons will identify prisoners to release. On March 17th the Hill reported that Philadelphia police will delay arrests for some nonviolent crimes amid coronavirus outbreak. Our 4th Amendment is being violated when tech companies are used to surveil and spy on our movements and everyday activities. Stay-at-home orders keep you from earning a living without due process. That is a violation of the 5th amendment. Barnes describes violations of the 6th & 7th Amendment. The real pandemic threat is here. It is the panic that will quarantine our Constitution. Who is your dictator?

ANTIFA & BLACK LIVES MATTER – AMERICA’S FRIEND OR FOE

ANTIFA & BLACK LIVES MATTER – AMERICA’S FRIEND OR FOE

The First Amendment protects Americans’ right to peacefully protest; every American supports that right.  Two groups that the main stream media claim are peacefully protesting are Black Lives Matter (BLM) and Anti-fascist (ANTIFA).

DEFINITION:  ANTIFA means anti-fascist which is made up of diverse groups that plan to achieve their motive through non-violent and violent direct action.

DEFINITION:  BLM started after the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.  The movement advocates non-violent civil disobedience with over 30 chapters in the United States.

Liberals have a knack for selecting innocent names we all agree with.  Planned Parenthood sounds innocent but has more to do with killing babies than the name.  Black Lives Matter, of course Black lives matter, but if you say all lives matter you are racist.   ANTIFA, of course we are against fascism, but ANTIFA, as we see it acting in America, is fascism.

Hawk Newsome is a New York BLM leader.  Jun 9, 2020, he told the Daily Mail that BLM is training a military arm to “LEAD WAR ON POLICE”.  Newsome claims to have former Special Forces officers’ training and is advising BLM on how to challenge law enforcement.  Newsome claims these groups are patterned after the Black Panthers and the Nation of Islam.  Patrisse Cullors was one of the 2013 founders and said on the June 2020 CNN Jake Tapper show that a primary goal is to separate black voters from Trump to get Trump out of office.  In a 2015 video Cullors claimed that she and fellow organizers are proteges of Eric Mann, a former Weather Underground 1960s domestic terror organization member.  Cullors claims that BLM organizers have spent years absorbing Marxist-Leninist ideology.  “Myself and Alicia in particular are trained organizers,” she said, referring to BLM co-founder Alicia Garza, “we actually do have a Marxist ideology.”

BLM is not just a military training to wage war on police; it’s a political organization.  June 2020, BLM made the rounds to several small Wisconsin communities to include Shawano.  BLM marched in Shawano in June to promote the fact that they were peaceful but I believe this was just a publicity stunt.  We see BLM in action around the country and in Northeast Wisconsin.

One of the co-founders of BLM, Alicia Garza, claims that Joanne Chesimard, AKA: Assata Shaku, is an inspiration and hero; Assata Shakur is a convicted cop killer with a $1 million  FBI reward and a wanted domestic terrorist, per the Washington Examiner and Jerry Dunleavy.  Susan Rosenberg is a member of the finance board of directors and was suspected of helping Shakur escape prison.

According to several sources, one being Stephen Loiaconi, ABC 6 DC, contributions to BLM go through a front group called ActBlue Charities. Portions of all contributions to BLM are funneled to Democratic and progressive groups, but the fundraising group (ActBlue) takes a percentage of all contributions.  Major corporations are scrambling to donate millions.

According to a poll by Monmouth University revealed by Campus Reform Rep. Jody Hice of Georgia told Todd Starnes on June 3rd the poll shows that 58% of college-educated people believe rioting is justified. Is this an example of the breakdown of our education system?  College-educated liberals have told me they support ANTIFA because the group is anti-fascist, and these liberals believe Trump is fascist.  ANTIFA set up CHAZ (Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone) which changed to CHOPS (Capitol Hill Organized Zone) on six blocks in Seattle.  ANTIFA is against our form of government and is anti-capitalist.  Janine Phakdeetham of The Sun quoted Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan that the CHOP’s zone saw a 525% increase in violent crime over the same time last year to include murders and rapes.

I have said for some time that ANTIFA is the equivalent of the 1930s Nazi Brown Shirts, and what is scary is they receive support from Democrats and the media.  Austin, Texas, has an ANTIFA group known as the Red Guard.  The Red Guard is self-described as an autonomous Marxist-Leninist- Maoist group.  The Red Guard FB page, posted, “The war is not coming – it is here and now!”

Who remembers April/May 2020 when residents of Michigan went to the capitol at Lansing and openly carried weapons?  The media and Democrats, to a person, was outraged at these Michiganders’ outright show of force.  We have seen ANTIFA occupy CHOPS and CHAZ, and rioting and looting across the United States.  ANTIFA always carries weapons and frequently communist flags. Do you ever see any outrage from the media, national or local Democrats?

ANTIFA and BLM rioters have injured or killed 711 police, since the Floyd murder according to the True North wire as of June 10.  Portland has had rioting and looting every night since the Floyd murder.

ANTIFA and BLM both want to defund police.  If you have a candidate who supports either BLM or ANTIFA know that they want to defund your police.  Democratic governors and mayors hate President Trump so much that we see them marching with ANTIFA and BLM as these politicians physically and verbally support rioters, looters and arsonists.

“The moment the idea is admitted into society that property is not as sacred as the laws of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence.” – John Adams

AGAINST ALL ENEMIES OR JUST SOME

Every person that enters the military takes the same oath. “I _____, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, etc.”

I served in the military for 34 years and was honored with two combat commands. Liberals and Conservatives have asked my thoughts about General Mattis and others. I asked one of the liberals if Mattis was believable because Mattis was critical of President Trump. The response was that Mattis demonstrated compelling credibility based on logic and evidence.

Before I get into Mattis, let me address National Security Advisor John Bolton. As I write this Bolton is on his book selling TV tour. Bolton worked for President Bush who in 2008 said, “I don’t consider Bolton credible”. John Bolton could have testified before the 2019 impeachment committee but did not. Bolton refused to testify willingly or even with a subpoena. Question: What was Bolton afraid of? Was Bolton afraid to be questioned under oath?

June 3, 2020: Mattis stated that Trump was violating the Constitution by calling up the military. According to the National Guard Historian, since the enactment of the 1952 Armed Forces Reserve Act, the Guard has been called up 12 times under the control of the President. The first time was in Little Rock, Arkansas, to support the Little Rock 9. Arkansas’s governor had called up the National Guard, but it just blocked entry to the nine black students. Eisenhower issued Executive Order 10730 and federalized the Guard but later sent in the 101st Airborne.

What got everyone upset was that Trump referenced the Insurrection Act of 1807, which gives the President the power to mobilize the state militia or active military to enforce laws. That act expanded the 1792 Militia Act which gave the president power to command state militias in cases of insurrection. This may be invoked in cases of insurrection against state law, state government, actions against federal law, or if the state fails to protect the US Constitution.

James Mattis denounces President Trump. He describes Trump as a threat to the Constitution and that Trump is ordering the military to violate the constitution. Tell me how Trump has violated or would have violated the Constitution. Mattis went on to say that at home, we should use our military only when requested to do so. I have lots of respect for Mattis, but this statement is wrong. The governor of Arkansas did not request that Eisenhower bring in the 101st Airborne or federalize the Guard.

General Mattis also backs the protesters and claims that there are only a small number of lawbreakers. Trump did not threaten to bring in the military to stop peaceful protesters. What does Mattis’ statement have to do with looting and destruction of property?

Because of all the rioters, looters and arsonists, by June 2 numerous Secret Service agents were injured, Chicago – 130 police officers injured, Davenport, IA – officer shot, Boston – police patrol vehicle set on fire and at least seven officers injured, Jacksonville, FL – officer’s neck slashed, Salt Lake City, UT – 21 police officers injured, and in New York City – at least 33 police officers injured. The total number of officers nationwide injured in the week long rioting, looting and arson remains unclear. The destruction of property is estimated to be multiple hundreds of millions of dollars. Mattis said a small number of protesters, WOW!

Mattis said, “Donald Trump is the first president in my lifetime who does not try to unite the American people.” President Obama said that police acted stupidly in the Professor Gates’ arrest followed by the beer summit photo op. Trevon Martin was killed by a Hispanic security guard, and Obama said that if he had a son he would look like Trevon. President Obama could have used the AG Holder federal grand jury investigation into the Michael Brown shooting as a teachable moment to unite America, but did not. The media did not help either, and America continues to see the hands up–don’t shoot lie to this day.

After General Mattis resigned he argued that it would threaten the apolitical nature of the military to comment. Look back in history and you will see the criticism of President Truman when he fired General Douglas MacArthur. Truman was correct; the military is controlled by the elected civilians. We allow our military tremendous autonomy and respect. As a civilian Mattis has the right to his opinions but is not automatically correct.

Bolton, Mattis and many of the generals are not happy with Trump’s desire to remove the United States from the wars that we have been engaged in since 2002. What would these guys say if ANTIFA came to their neighborhood?

June 1, Trump and the nation had watched three consecutive days of burning, looting and property destruction around the United States and all around the White House. It appeared to Trump that local governors and law enforcement were being overwhelmed. Under these conditions President Trump threatened to bring in the military using the 1807 Insurrection Act. Trump, unlike Mattis, understood his oath to defend the US Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.

ANTIFA is dangerous, and Trump wants law and order. Do we?

ESSENTIAL FEAR vs ESSENTIAL BUSINESS

ESSENTIAL FEAR vs ESSENTIAL BUSINESS

Fear resulted in control.  The first level of fear was created by experts with a little science sprinkled in.  The science was based on computer models and very high death predictions.  March 24:  Wisconsin Secretary-Designee of Health Andrea Palm warns that on our current path in the next two weeks, Wisconsin will see 440 – 1,500 dead by April 7.  May 17, 453 have died, but they want you to believe it was all because you gave up your freedom and remained home.

The second level of fear was from the health field.  I have 9 family members working in the health field.  Because so much was unknown about the Covid-19 nurses and others prepared protocols for the most contagious and the worst ever.  Their fear was real, so they shared their concern with family members; this sharing of fear that came from trusted family hospital workers validated the computer model predictions and fear communicated by the science experts.

The third level of fear was for our children.  Students had to go home.  No teacher, parent or grandparent wants their children to become ill.  Now we know that those under 30 years old are the least vulnerable amongst us.  Why are we are allowing everything to be canceled that a child looks forward to?

Following the April 6th Supreme Court ruling regarding voting at polls, the Main Stream Media and Social Media spread fear.  April 7, in-person voting will result in many deaths and Republicans want to kill us!  April 24:  two friends and I were at the Madison protest.  We walked around the capitol several times and determined that at the south entrance there were about 1,500.  The sidewalks and the grounds around the capitol were full with a total of 5,000 people to view the convoy.  A friend was at the park and ride north of Madison, and counted vehicles and passengers estimating 3,000 people making up the convoy, total 8,000.  Where is the spike from—the April 24 protest or the April 7 voting?

Government has forced everyone into a few locations:  large stores, grocery stores and gas stations.  Where is the big spike?  Are you getting suspicious?  Have you noticed the similarities between the Wuhan China Virus predictions and global warming predictions?  It does not matter that the number of deaths predicted were way off.  You stayed home and gave up your freedom is why the numbers are down, not because science computer models were wrong.

We are told that we must listen to the science experts, but there are confusing statements by the experts.  February 19:  USA Today, Dr. Fauci said, “The only people who need masks are those who are already infected to keep from exposing others.”  Fauci stated that the danger from the coronavirus is “just minuscule.” He stated that people should take precautions against the seasonal “influenza outbreak, which is having its second wave.”  Fauci identified the seasonal flu as the “real and present danger,” so Fauci advised, “Wash your hands as frequently as you can, stay away from sick people and cover your mouth when you cough.   Tuesday, May 12:  Dr. Fauci told Congress, “There’s no guarantee that the vaccine is actually going to be effective.”

Dr. Deborah Birx accused Robert Redfield, the director of the Center for Disease Control, “There is nothing from the CDC that I can trust.” Dr. Birx and others in the task force reportedly believe the CDC methods for tracking the virus inflated the statistics by up to 25 percent.  April 26th:   Dr. Birx accuses news outlets of being “slicey and dicey” when creating headlines knowing most millennial’s do not read below the headline where more complete data is located.

Did our elected state leaders help?  State Statute 323.10 describes when a governor may declare an emergency.  The last sentence reads “The executive order may be revoked at the discretion of either the governor by executive order or the legislature by joint resolution.”   How come they took no legislative action?

Shawano Sheriff Adam Bieber sent the governor a letter stating that he felt the governor’s executive order to be unconstitutional; Bieber would not enforce that order.  Does the May 13, Supreme Court decision overturning Governor Evers’ order validate Biebers decision?  If the sheriff had broken the law, the Attorney General or State Legislature would have acted against the sheriff; I am not aware of any action against Shawano Sheriff Bieber.

Governor Evers told Wisconsin residents that only essential businesses could open.  A dictionary description of essential is something that is absolutely necessary or extremely important.  A dictionary description of a business is a person’s regular occupation, profession or trade or the practice of making a living by engaging in commerce.  My definition:  any person or group of people who operate a business providing products or a service that the public supports is an essential business, therefore employees are also essential.

When you started your business did you think that it was important or essential?  When you took your current job did you think it was essential?  How is it that an elected government person can determine that your job or business is not essential?  Is providing for your family essential?

All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent. Thomas Jefferson

A WINNING PROGRAM FOR MARCH MADNESS

A WINNING PROGRAM FOR MARCH MADNESS

Brad Luepke is hanging up coaching basketball at St. Paul, Bonduel, and as his assistant I will, too. I’m writing this for two reasons. First is to thank Brad for the fun ride. Second, is to alert any high school in the area that has had the same dismal, depressing ending to their season year after year, you can change that! Ask Brad Luepke to be your varsity coach, if you’re tired of losing and would like a winning program.

There are high schools in the area that have parochial feeder programs. These schools have 5 starters from the parochial and 5 from the public school in each freshman class, but their season ends the same each year.

In December 2015 Brad Luepke asked if I would assist him with coaching. We coached the St. Paul Girls’ “A” Team. The A team is made up of 8th grade girls, but Bonduel is small so we have a mix of underclass students. Saying “YES” to assisting Brad was one of the best commitments that I have ever made, and it has been an exciting five-year ride.

St. Paul is in the Big 6 conference, and that first year we took 2nd in the conference but did manage to get invited to the state tournament. The team had two 8th grade girls starting, and the remainder were in 7th grade. We ended up winning the consolation bracket.

Over the next four years, we won the Big 6 conference championship each year and only lost one regular season game. The Big 6 is made up of parochial schools from Shawano, Clintonville and Green Bay. Each of these communities is larger than Bonduel. We got invited to the state tournament each year finishing 5th or 6th. In 2020, we finished 2nd, which is the best any team from St. Paul, Bonduel has ever done. During this same time St. Paul was invited to the national tournament at Valparaiso University for four consecutive years.

For the five-year span, St. Paul Girls “A” teams’ overall record for the Big 6, state, and national tournaments was 126 wins – 7 losses. Some of the victories at nationals were against various state champions and numerous state 2nd place teams. Most schools in the state tournament are larger than St. Paul, Bonduel, and several of the schools at nationals have more kids in their school than the Village of Bonduel has listed on its population sign.

Brad is respected and well-known by coaches on the state and national boards. Brad has been told that when the board is considering which schools to invite, many board members do not know where Bonduel the town is, but Brad has put Bonduel basketball on a pedestal, and everyone knows the quality of Bonduel basketball.

At the 2020 Shawano Optimist tournament Brad coached against three tournament teams. The first two were undefeated DePere and Appleton teams. St. Paul, Bonduel played a tournament team from Menasha for the championship and won 52 to 26. What is a tournament team? A tournament team is normally made up of players from 5 to 8 schools and the parents pay for their children to try out, with no guarantee of being on the team. If their children make the team the parents pay many dollars for those children to play and tour with that tournament team.

St. Paul, Bonduel is what it is today because Brad works with younger kids in the summer by holding open gyms. There is no requirement to come to open gym, but the girls show up and they bring their little sisters. We work with all of them. The little sister tells us that she wants to be on a winning team just like her big sister.

In the past few years one night each week our practice has been at
4:45 P.M. Many kids ride the bus and would just be getting home, then parents would have to run them back into town. Brad holds a study hall, which is also a bonding time for the team. It is mandatory that the girls get their homework done before any fun stuff. Once or twice each season Brad has a bonding party at his house where the girls have a ton of fun. Frequently Brad discusses life lessons with the team. Brad praises the upper class for accepting the younger team members. Two years ago, we went to nationals with five 8th graders, one 7th grader and two 6th grade students on the team and took 6th place.

The nationals committee considers 140+ schools from around the country and 32 are selected. At nationals you expect to see several teams with athletic girls 6 feet tall or taller, so the competition is superb, and the coaching is excellent.

It is fun to watch Brad during a timeout. Brad will tell the girls, ok this or that has been happening, so the other team will try to do this or that, so this is what you will do. Brad is correct 90% of the time in this coaching chess match, and what is most pleasing is to see the confidence in the girls’ faces as they head back onto the floor. Brad is a winning coach!

“Winning is not a sometime thing; it’s an all-time thing. You don’t win once in a while, you don’t do things right once in a while, you do them right all the time. Winning is habit. Unfortunately, so is losing.”

YOUR RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED

YOUR RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED

Today states and cities are passing gun confiscation and red flag laws. Did you know that Shawano County is considering a 2nd Amendment Resolution? The central point of the resolution is: the Shawano County Board, on behalf of the residents of Shawano County, opposes any efforts to unlawfully infringe upon the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, or to unlawfully ban the possession and use of any firearms, magazines or ammunition now employed by the law-abiding citizens of Shawano County for the defense of Life, Liberty and Property.

The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution reads: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
Liberals claim we do not need a 30-round magazine to kill a deer. Hunters would agree, but if we want a 30-round magazine we should be able to have one. Gun confiscation supporters hear the 30-round magazine statement and shake their collective heads in agreement. Anti-gun groups love to make statements like, “Don’t you agree with common sense gun laws?”

What is a common sense gun law? Common to you might not be common to me. The 2nd Amendment was not inserted into the US Constitution because it was common sense or to protect our rights to shoot targets, hunt ducks, deer or shoot trap. Today, recreational hunting and shooting is a large part of our nation’s economy. When the Constitution was written guns were used to provide food and protection for the homeowner.

¬“No FREE man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.” Thomas Jefferson

Do you know why the founding fathers placed so much importance on the 2nd Amendment? Something must have happened that made the 2nd Amendment important. Parliament passed the COERCIVE act in 1774 allowing Britain to use force (military) to carry out the confiscation of arms. From 1774 – 1776 the British confiscated guns and banned gun powder imports to the colonies. The American colonists did not want to give up their arms and neither do 21st Century Americans. These were some of the issues resulting in the American Revolution. In 1776 the Declaration of Independence was signed. On May 29, 1790, the 13th Colony ratified the US Constitution, and it became law. Did you know that the US Constitution is the only law ever passed by a vote of the American people?

Let’s dissect the 2nd Amendment. Gun confiscation advocates focus on the first part which refers to military and law enforcement, a well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State. The second part is more the critical, “The right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” Why do you suppose the founding fathers wanted people to keep and bear arms? Who would the people bear arms against?

Founding Fathers Second Amendment discussion in Federalist Paper 29: Having just used guns and other arms to ward off the English, the amendment was created to give citizens the opportunity to fight back against a tyrannical federal government. The founders did not want a strong central government to dictate to the individual American, hindering each Americans right to the pursuit of happiness.
Remember what the Obama administration’s motto was, “Never let a crisis go to waste!” Our powerful centralized government is becoming more tyrannical, and each shooting is used to pass new restrictive gun regulation while emotions are high.

“Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote!” Benjamin Franklin

How familiar are you with gun confiscation around the world? I will only reference countries that confiscated guns resulting in mass murders in the 20th century. Turkey confiscated guns in 1911, Soviet Union in 1929, China 1935, Germany 1938, Guatemala 1964, Uganda 1970, Cambodia 1975, and the last is Venezuela 2012. These confiscations resulted in over 86,000,000 innocent people being killed. A few of the targeted groups were anyone who disagreed with the central government, Christians, Western Educated, Armenians, and Jews. Look at the strongest gun law cities in the United States and compare their shooting and death rate compared to other less restrictive gun right cities and concealed carry states.

Switzerland has the lowest gun crime rate in the developed nations. Switzerland offers shooting lessons beginning at age 10 and allows student participants to take the gun home. Switzerland has a militia-based military and issues a gun to militia members that these members take home with them. In America several high schools have trap shooting teams. In the 50s and 60s disciplined safe handling of guns was taught in schools, and today some feel that we should offer that same discipline through a hunter safety class to 7th & 8th graders.

“A free people ought not only to be armed, but disciplined.” – George Washington January 1790

Think about this: each elected official takes an oath to protect and preserve the Constitution of the United States. Watch for dates and times for Shawano County Board and committees to meet.
“If you do not take an interest in the affairs of your government, then you are doomed to live under the rule of fools” – Plato

MARRIED 42 YEARS !!!!!!

I have been married for 42 years, but unlike so many of you I did not marry my best friend. If I had married my best friend 42 years ago, I would have married my best high school friend Mike Bohm. I was 24 when I married an 18-year-old young woman.

I married Connie Lou Wolff because she was cute, smart and sexy! I loved spending time with her and her family. My future father in-law Norm and mother In-law Rosetta were both awesome, and we miss both of them daily. Her brother Dan and I were hunting buddies and remain so to this day. I enjoyed being with Connie and was at her house regularly. I felt that I wanted to spend 24 hours a day with her and she felt the same. Her parents and mine said that we were too young, but young love won out!

Connie and I got married on February 4, 1978. We were married at St. James in Shawano with a reception following at Pleschek’s Pavilion. Music was not with a DJ playing Rock’n Roll but with a family band called Hauser’s, and they played polkas. The food was provided by the family and prepared by the crew at Pleschek’s under the supervision of Mary Runge. Mary asked how many we expected and then told us how many pounds of potatoes, meat and vegetables were needed. Rosetta and other family members started peeling potatoes days before the wedding. Security (we needed that) at Pleschek’s was provided by Don Baumgartner

We had 6 inches of snow on our wedding day, but that did not matter, because we still had about 600 guests. I was not Mister Fun, and I only allowed one kiss following clinking on water glasses. Another tradition back then was to leave the reception and go bar hopping. Connie and I decided long before the wedding not to do that, because we reasoned that all of these people were coming to help us celebrate our wedding, so we would stay and talk to, and dance with, as any as we could. Connie and I went to church at Stony Hill the following morning.
I proposed to Connie, and we got engaged at her senior prom. She had planned to attend college for two years in Marshfield, and then we would get married just after her graduation. That summer she broke her leg and on top of it, got a kidney infection which landed her in the hospital. Because of her illness she missed the beginning of school that fall.

For some reason when she was not able to attend school in Marshfield, she lost her scholarship money. I said not to worry, that I would pay for her schooling which would begin March 1978. Sometime in October 1977 we decided to get married before she was to begin school at NWTC in Green Bay. We announced our wedding plans at a Wolff family function. Well, that created a firestorm of relatives assuming that we had to get married because Connie was pregnant. Human nature is funny.

Connie is the unselfish steady rock in our marriage. When we had emotional discussions she would stop debating, and a day or so later I would find a letter explaining her position and highlighting my faults. She was always correct.

She supported my endeavors. This led to numerous jobs and failures. Throughout that, she was always the steady rock. Eventually, I ended up at the US Post Office and back in the military through the Wisconsin National Guard.

Connie and I have two wonderful children. Amber is now married to Brady and they live in Brillion. Recently we were blessed with our first grandchild Eliana Rose on December 17, 2019. Mike lives in Shawano, and he and I have been hunting in South Africa twice.

I refer to Connie as the pioneer woman. Because of my time in the military she was left to manage the house and growing family on her own. Shortly after 911, I was mobilized and during that mobilization commanded two combat units in Iraq. After I returned from Iraq, I was a full Colonel and had responsibility to train units heading to combat. Because of my military responsibilities I was gone an average of 6 months per year. The pioneer woman/ solid rock Connie was left to manage on her own.

I retired from the military 31 December 2013, but still had my job as postmaster of Kaukauna. I could have retired, but Connie would have had to continue to work. I promised Connie that I would continue to work until we could retire together. You can see from how selfish I was, and how unselfish Connie was, that I owed her that.

My best friend Connie and I retired a few years ago. We finish each other’s sentences or think the same thing at the same time and laugh. I cannot imagine having succeeded to the level that I did without my wife and best friend Connie Lou. We know that God has blessed us, but I feel that he has blessed me more because I get to see my good looking best friend Connie Lou every day.

Benjamin Franklin – Keep your eyes wide open before marriage, half shut afterwards.
